Awareness Month
Every month on Pure 107.8FM we will be raising awareness of different topics that are of importance to you and the Borough of Stockport.
The purpose behind wanting to raise awareness is to promote understanding of the topic for that month, give advice and provide information to you on how you can get help and the events that are taking place.
February 2007
February is LGBT History Month and we at Pure 107.8FM are helping local people to find out more about Stockport's LGBT community and its heritage.
Locally events are taking place to celebrate the culture, interests and recent moves to try and stamp out discrimination.
Throughout the month, our presenters will be highlighting events that are taking place in and around Stockport, and will be telling listeners all sorts of interesting facts about the LGBT community and heritage.

Listen every Monday night from 7 - 7:30pm to Under the Rainbow, our weekly show dedicated to Stockport's LGBT community. They'll be bringing you more information about LGBT History Month and events that are happening locally.
